How to Schedule an Appointment

We understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, so we strive to make the process as smooth and straightforward as possible.
Raleigh Office
(919) 876-5658
Cary Office
(919) 481-9012
Appointment times vary based on the availability of our clinicians. We offer morning and afternoon appointments to accommodate your needs. Please contact the specific office to check for current availability.
Initial Appointment and Intake Process
Your first appointment will typically be an intake session where the clinician gathers information about your medical, psychological, and family history. This allows us to develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
For children and adolescents, parents or guardians are often involved in the intake process to provide additional background and history.
You can read more about this process on the new patient information page.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules change, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment time. This allows us to offer the appointment time to other clients who may be waiting.
Late Cancellations:
If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Missed Appointments:
If you miss an appointment without prior notice, you may be charged a cancelation fee. We encourage you to call as soon as you know you cannot attend so we can work with you to reschedule.
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call the office directly.
Payment for Appointments
Payment is required at the time of your appointment. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Please note that we are an out-of-network provider. We will provide you with a detailed invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
