Sandra Wartski, Psy.D.
Dr. Sandra Wartski is a seasoned psychologist with over 30 years of experience in individual, family, and group therapy, as well as psychoeducational evaluations. She specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship challenges, and crisis intervention. In addition, she is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).
Bio:
Sandra Wartski, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in North Carolina with over three decades of experience in individual, family, and group therapy. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and obtained her Doctorate in Psychology from Widener University. After completing her internships at Media Child Guidance Clinic and The Renfrew Center, she moved to Raleigh in 1993 and joined Silber Psychological Services.
Dr. Wartski specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship issues, and crisis intervention. Her therapeutic approach is highly individualized, drawing from various evidence-based modalities, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), SP (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy), AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems). She is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS). One of Dr. Wartski’s greatest passions as a therapist is building meaningful relationships that foster personal growth and create opportunities for lasting change.
Professional volunteerism has also been important to Dr. Wartski. She has been actively involved in disaster mental health response, serving as the Disaster Response Network Coordinator for North Carolina and as Mental Health Lead for the Triangle Red Cross for a number of years. She has served as President of the North Carolina Psychological Association (NCPA) as well as President of the North Carolina Psychological Foundation (NCPF). Currently, she serves as Chairperson for the Public Education Committee of NCPF.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Wartski is passionate about writing and delivering presentations on a wide range of mental and behavioral health topics. She enjoys sharing knowledge with both the public and professionals, offering practical insights about psychological science that extend beyond the therapy office.
