Intelligence Quotient or IQ
Intelligence Quotient or IQ is a set of scores that is derived from standardized tests to assess cognitive functioning. Generally the tests include a strong language component, perceptual reasoning tasks, working memory and a wide array of other functions that are deemed to be important to assess thinking, reasoning and ability to solve problems. IQ scores are generally a good predicator of educational achievement, special needs and job performance.
