Tate Halverson, M.A., is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Program at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Silber, Tate was a practicum student at Central Regional Hospital in Butner, NC on the inpatient forensics unit. Tate also has previous experience working with children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient setting at the UNC Community Clinic providing psychotherapy and assessments focusing on diagnostic clarity, early kindergarten readiness, and learning disabilities. Tate also has previous experience working with adolescents and family members as part of a DBT skills-group. Tate is especially interested in working with children, adolescents, and their families to address emotion regulation difficulties and assessment cases.
